About
me
I’m Laurence. I attended the University of Oxford between 2010 and 2018, completing an Undergraduate Masters of Mathematics (MMath) and a Doctorate in Mathematical Biology (DPhil, PhD).
I am an experienced tutor in the UK mathematics syllabus, at both GCSE and A-Level. I am also experienced in working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD and other SEND needs.
I deliver high quality mathematics tuition, online and in person. I am able to accommodate you wherever you are in the world.

We can increase interactivity through the use of a device on your end also, such as a tablet or your own graphics tablet. This allows us both to write on the whiteboard at the same time.
Many of my students have purchased their own graphics tablets, and I would be happy to recommend. Basic ones can be purchased for less than £50.
However, this is not necessary to and students can still make fantastic progress without one!

How I deliver quality online tuition
Using a combination of Google Meet, virtual whiteboards and a graphics tablet, I am able to provide seamless online tuition.
I write on the virtual whiteboard just like I would with a pen and paper. Questions are easy to input and annotate.
I use Bitpaper to store virtual whiteboards, which are then permanently accessible to you anytime at no cost.
